Service-as-a-Software: What I Learned Governing AI Agents in a Creator Economy Business

AI agents are moving from assisting humans to executing real business workflows. But how do we give them enough autonomy to be useful without losing control, observability, or product velocity? I faced this while building Oxente Creator, a Service-as-a-Software product where agents discover commercial opportunities and match brands with creators. What started as an AI product quickly became a platform design problem. In this talk, I share our architecture: a domain core, specialized agents with explicit autonomy boundaries, a shared AI Platform for models, prompts, evals and observability, and human approval before consequential actions. You'll leave with practical patterns for governing agents and applying platform-as-product principles while still searching for product-market fit.
